Evan Schroedel’s values were shaped early by his parents. From them, he learned the importance of integrity, compassion, and standing up for what’s right, even when it isn’t easy.

While living with his parents in Denver, his father attended a local school board meeting and questioned segregation policies. He was told he didn’t understand racial division because he came from Montana. In response, his father chose action over argument, purchasing a home in a minority neighborhood. That’s where Evan spent part of his childhood, learning firsthand to treat people with dignity, to listen before judging, and to value community across differences.

Today, Evan Schroedel is a proud Democrat who believes in practical leadership, strong communities, and accountability in government. He understands that Montana’s strength comes from its rural communities, agricultural roots, and independent spirit.

Evan has actively supported leaders like Jon Tester, leaders who put Montana first and believe public service is about showing up, listening, and doing the work. Like Tester, Evan believes leadership means working across differences and delivering real results that matter at home.
